Controller Remote Setup Guide

1

What's in the Box

The Controller Remote is built on the Elecrow CrowPanel 2.1" with a 480x480 capacitive touchscreen. Included: CrowPanel display, USB-C cable, and wall-mount bracket.

2

Mount & Power On

Attach the wall-mount bracket in a convenient location near your irrigation controller. The remote has a built-in rechargeable battery — charge it via USB-C before first use. Once charged, it runs wirelessly on battery. The display initializes with the Flux interface on power-up.

3

Connect to WiFi

On first boot, the remote advertises via Bluetooth. Open HA Companion app → Settings → Devices & Services and configure WiFi. Fallback: captive portal hotspot with no password.

4

Add to Home Assistant

The remote is auto-discovered by Home Assistant. Configure the device. All control entities sync bidirectionally with your Irrigation Controller.

5

Pair with Your Controller

The remote automatically syncs with your Flux Irrigation Controller through Home Assistant. Zone controls, durations, and schedules are mirrored in both directions — changes on the remote appear in HA and vice versa.

6

Navigate the Interface

The remote has several pages: Status (system overview), Zones (start/stop individual zones), Duration (set zone run times), Schedule (configure 7-day weekly schedule with 4 start times), and Settings (12/24-hour time format). Swipe to navigate between pages.
